How to use the Culique

The Culique Infrared Therapy System is engineered for effortless self-administration at home and in professional clinics. Follow this step-by-step clinical guide to configure your device for facial, neck, or scalp treatments.

Step 1: Connecting the Controller & Power

Connect the USB-C power cable to a 5V/2A power adapter and plug it into the controller power port (3). Then insert the therapy mat cable into USB-C output port (1). The green power LED indicator will illuminate.

Step 2: Positioning the Flexible Mask

The ergonomic silicone body contours naturally to all facial shapes. Use the adjustable Velcro strap to secure a comfortable, gentle contact against clean, dry skin:

Scalp & Crown Therapy

Secured inside the cap for targeted scalp coverage and follicle care.

Upper Face & Forehead

Positioned across the brow and eyes to rejuvenate forehead furrows and crow’s feet.

Position D

Neck & Décolletage Wrap

Wrapped gently around the neck to firm delicate skin and smooth horizontal bands.

Step 3: Selecting Treatment Mode & Timing

• Mode Selection: Use the UP/DOWN buttons to select your intended protocol (1 Anti-Aging, 2 Collagen Building, 3 Tissue Healing, 4 Elastosis, 5 Hair Loss).
• Session Timing: We recommend starting with 30 minutes per session. Experienced users may extend to 60 or 90 minutes. Maximum single session time is 120 minutes.
• Intensity Level: Begin on Low (L) intensity for your first 3 sessions to assess skin response. Progress to High (H) for deeper tissue healing once acclimated.
• Eye Comfort: Keep eyes comfortably closed during facial sessions. While red and NIR light are safe and non-thermal, eyes naturally relax with eyelids closed.

Step 4: Scalp & Hair Follicle Stimulation (Culique Hat)

To treat thinning hair, alopecia, or stimulate dormant follicles, insert the flexible Culique mat into the specialized Culique Cap accessory and follow the 5-step process:

Assemble Power Adapter

Attach the wall plug to the power adapter.

Step 2

Connect Power Port

Plug the power cable into the controller.

Step 3

Connect Output Cable

Plug the therapy cable into the top port.

Step 4

Connect to Cap

Plug the USB cable into the therapy cap.

Step 5

Activate Mode 5

Turn on, select Setting 5 (Hair Loss), and begin.

Step 5: Connecting 2 Masks for Partner Sessions

The Culique controller features dual USB-C output ports, enabling two people to receive simultaneous photobiomodulation treatments from a single power source:

• Connect the controller to the 5V power adapter.
• Plug two separate Culique Infrared Masks into USB-C Port 1 and Port 2.
• Both masks will synchronously transmit the selected clinical mode and timer duration.
